We hate to see the "Miss Jenny " go but also fortunate to have been able to do business with the Gnagy's . What a nice family! We hope they enjoy their new 2500 Hydra-Sport as much as the previous owner Captain Bill Smith.

Yamaha Frozen Bolts on F-225
Garrett's Marina Service note of the week.... Preventive maintenance in a marine environment is paramount. By the looks of the picture you can see all of the boats on an F-225 Yamaha had to be heated to keeping from ringing all of them off. This is why it is so important to change out the water pump on engines used in a salt water environments. Even if the pump has few hours on it is still a good idea to change out the pump so that all of the bolts can be broken loose and coated w/ anti seize compound or marine gasket sealing compound. The manufacture for Yamaha says change out the pump every year but my rule of thumb for the average boater who puts approx. 100 hours on an engine is every 4 years or if you put or if you are the boater who puts a 100 hours on an engine every year then at a minimum it should be replaced every 2 years. If you have any questions regarding service by all means call the Louis Muse. With 29 years of experience in taking care of a fleet of boats Louis and his team know how to keep you on the water.
